A MESSAGE FROM Lara's TCS NYC Marathon Fundraising Page
As a mom of two autistic not-so-small-these-days kiddos, I'm so honored to be again running together with the team supporting ASAN (Autistic Self-Advocacy Network). I'm thrilled to be getting to run a whopping 26.2 miles throughout all of the boroughs of my old home, NYC!
If you’re not familiar with ASAN, they are an amazing cause that seeks to advance the principles of the disability rights movement with regards to autism. ASAN believes that the goal of autism advocacy should be a world in which autistic people enjoy equal access, rights and opportunities. They work to empower autistic people across the world to take control of their own lives and the future of the common community, and seek to organize the autistic community to ensure their voices are heard in the national conversation about them. We’ve learned first-hand some of these challenges and how important organizations like ASAN are in supporting these rights. You can learn more about ASAN here.
Please help support my fundraising efforts for the TCS NYC Marathon in support of this cause that’s near and dear to me. No donation is too small. Please click on the donate button!

Thank you so much for your support!
